Deb and Doug are the co-authors of the best selling self help book entitled YOUR BODY, YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. They are also the originators of the highly acclaimed Alignment Resistance Training Method.
Deb and Doug bring their combined 75+ years of learning, research and clinical experience to their radio show covering a plethora of topics ranging from exercise and diet topics to more in depth medical examinations about injuries, methods of treatments and rehab as well as every condition imaginable for the movement and function of the human body.
With Debra’s 30 years experience in all facets of Physical Therapy and Doug’s 40 years experience in strength training and exercise, they bring a unique insight into problems that plague most people as they get older. Add to this the fact that they both incurred serious back injuries themselves as teenagers that they still manage today, they speak from a position of extreme understanding and knowledge that most professionals never experience or understand.
They live and practice the methods they teach and possess a level of strength and muscle development that rivals or exceeds any 20 year old without any arthritis or back pain despite their age of 61 for Doug and 53 for Debra. Doug still squats and deadlifts over 400 pounds and Debra squats and deadlifts over 250 pounds for a 5’5”, 150 pound lady that wears a size 8.
